  • Cedarwood Garden Club held its final meeting of 2025 on Dec. 12 at the historic Coffin-Robbins House on West Main Street and donated $850 to Seven Homes Family Foster Care Service to help finish Christmas shopping for children in foster care.  YES! Weekly

CULTURE NEWS

  • Kersey Valley Christmas offers an immersive family experience with over two million LED lights and train rides at a 92 acre farm in Archdale. The final weekend runs from Friday, Dec. 19 to Tuesday, Dec. 23 (main and preferred parking are available) with admission covering most activities.  WXII 12

  • High Point’s unemployment rate remains steady as autumn begins, a sign of a healthy job market + local figures show stable employment levels.  The High Point Enterprise

  • Commissioners met on Nov. 20 in Greensboro to learn about water quality issues and needed upgrades for old wastewater systems amid regional growth in Guilford & Randolph counties. Gregory Flory of PTRWA said a master plan detailing improvements will be released by the third quarter to help guide future work.  YES! Weekly
