  • Rabbi Andy Koren from Temple Emanuel in Greensboro discussed the recent Bondi Beach attack that killed 15 people, urging his congregation to lean on each other during Hanukkah. He described the incident as a stark example of antisemitism — a reminder for the community to unite amid hardship.  WXII 12
  • One High Point woman reported issues with a leaning tree hanging over her home, which has caused her repeated headaches. She said a dispute with her HOA over getting a company to remove the tree has made the situation stressful.  WFMY News 2

  • AAR Corp confirmed it laid off employees in the Triad after acquiring HAECO Americas last November (the company did not disclose exact numbers) to align its workforce with current workload needs.  WFMY News 2

  • A Triad family marked a milestone when mother and daughter graduated college together in Greensboro. Nashunta Crews, 43, earned a legal studies degree from the University of Maryland while her daughter Genesis finished a biology degree from North Carolina A&T, and they plan to pursue further studies.  WXII 12
