- ➤ Amid the ongoing shutdown, Sweet Turkey’s BBQ food truck is offering free meals to residents impacted by delayed SNAP benefits (free meals available) and will continue the giveaway until further notice (support available locally). WFMY News 2
- ➤ The Carolina Christmas Bazaar will be held Nov. 15 at Wesley Memorial Methodist Church in High Point with 75 vendors, a cafe offering breakfast and lunch, a bake sale, treasure hunt, and tours of stained-glass windows. Local events coming up include a Jamestown Town Council meeting on Nov. 18, a post-secondary event at Ragsdale High School on Nov. 19, and a one-day Christmas on Main celebration in Jamestown on Dec. 13—applications for participating businesses are due by Nov. 20.
