- ➤ After a scheduled engineering inspection on November 3, officials found structural deficiencies in the bridge on Washington Street that led to its closure for safety; repair work will be planned soon to restore access. WFMY News 2
- ➤ Leaf collection in High Point will start based on your normal garbage pickup day; residents with Tuesday and Thursday pickups will have collection through Nov. 21 while those with Monday and Wednesday pickups will begin on Dec. 1. City officials remind residents to place leaves only in paper bags—avoiding the garbage or areas near vehicles. WXII 12
