  • High Point first responders took part in the city's fifth annual stair climb to honor victims of Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Participants climbed the stairs at Truist Park and carried cards with photos and brief biographies for each victim—Fire Chief Brian Evans said the event united the community.  WXII 12

EDUCATION NEWS

  • High Point University celebrated the opening of its Kenneth F. Khan School of Law building on Sept 11—staff, law students, and judges gathered for the ceremony with Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito appearing virtually. This event followed the opening of a new dental building on Sept 10—marking the second grand opening on campus in two days.  WXII 12
