It is expected to regain strength to Category 4 as it passes offshore, and residents are advised to watch for updates.

Growing High Point will use $64,000 from Honda to give away free 10-pound compost boxes with instructions on turning food scraps into soil — the boxes will be available at the High Point Farmers Market each Saturday and delivered to seniors each Tuesday, with waste composted at East Russell Street.
