- ➤ Gaurang Doshi—an adjunct professor at UNCG who teaches Indian music—was awarded the North Carolina Heritage Award earlier this month. He plays the sarod and is one of only two artists from Winston-Salem to earn the state's highest cultural honor. News & Record
