  • Cooling centers have opened across the Piedmont-Triad in anticipation of high summer temperatures—providing residents a safe place to cool down. In High Point, the centers at The Salvation Army (301 W. Green Drive) and Oak Street Health (2850 S. Main Street) are ready to serve those in need.  ABC45
  • Brody, a dog from a local rescue, is now available for adoption in High Point—community animal advocates say he needs a new home. Supporters encourage residents to visit local shelters to learn more about giving him a forever family.  WFMY News 2
