Thomas Built Buses marks 110 years of success as it evolved from making streetcars into school buses (switching from wood to steel two years after its start), a change that highlights its long history of innovation in local manufacturing.

High Point University and the High Point Police Department hosted the 12th Annual Youth Leadership Academy on June 15 for 24 high school students, offering them hands-on leadership training.

The academy aims to equip local youth with skills for future community roles.
