ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission updated its guidelines for hunters and farmers after ten deer tested positive for chronic wasting disease this season, mainly in Triad counties with four cases each in Yadkin and Surry. The new rules—switching from mandatory to voluntary testing—urge extra care during field dressing to help slow the spread of the disease. WXII 12
