- ➤ Tony Collins, Tim Davis and Johnny Horne, longtime Southside residents, are leading plans to revitalize their neighborhood as the city collaborates with the Foundation for a Healthy High Point to offer $2,000 grants to 11 local associations. They plan to improve the community garden, launch local programs and install neighborhood signs—hoping to boost local engagement at meetings held each first Thursday at 6 p.m. ABC45
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ High Point police charged two individuals in connection with an armed robbery and assault during a home invasion—one suspect was arrested about five minutes into the search and both were in custody in under 30 minutes. News & Record
- ➤ Police in High Point arrested two armed robbery suspects on Friday around 2:15 p.m. after a reported home invasion led to a short chase that ended with a car crash—investigators recovered two guns and stolen items while each suspect faces over a dozen charges and remains in custody at Guilford County Jail.
