GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Guilford County Manager Michael Halford said the proposed budget allocates an extra $2.5M for schools and $11M for the sheriff’s office — a figure that is less than the board of education requested. Officials will review the plan as part of future spending decisions. News & Record
