ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ High Point fire officials ruled the May 5 fire at the Future Foam plant accidental—the blaze damaged three vehicles and a metal awning—with no injuries and began working with the facility to improve foam storage in dry, windy weather. WFMY News 2

- ➤ A heat wave is coming to the Piedmont beginning Saturday — temperatures will rise from the mid-80s to near 90 on Sunday and reach the low 90s on Monday before cooling slightly by Thursday. WXII 12
