COMMUNITY NEWS

  • The Triad community held a charity concert at Center Church in Welcome Saturday to raise funds for Hurricane Helene recovery. The event featured Christian artists including Grammy nominated Rhett Walker, Mercy Falls and Mike Dillon—part of the proceeds went to Samaritan's Purse Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief.  WXII 12
  • A local rescue group is urging High Point residents to adopt Kuromi, a pet in need of a loving home. The adoption drive seeks to find a permanent placement for Kuromi as soon as possible.  WFMY News 2
  • Today, letter carriers in the Triad picked up nonperishable food donations left at mailboxes as part of the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Second Harvest Food Bank in Winston-Salem will sort and distribute tens of thousands of pounds of food—crucial for local families in need.  WXII 12
