- ➤ William Rhew III from Summerfield pleaded guilty on Tuesday to charges including wire fraud, money laundering, securities fraud and tax crimes in a Ponzi scheme that defrauded 117 investors of at least $24 million+ misused for personal expenses, and he is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 22nd. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Residents in High Point will need to prepare for high winds as hurricane season will begin June 1 — meteorologist Brian Slocum advises trimming trees, repairing loose siding, and securing outdoor objects to reduce damage.
