- ➤ A High Point Police officer, David A. Bowles, 36, was taken into custody on Tuesday at about 1:20 a.m. for an alleged assault on a female and is now held at Guilford County Jail — he remains on administrative leave while an investigation continues. WXII 12
- ➤ Around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, High Point Police responded to a domestic incident at a home where officer David A. Bowles was arrested for assault on a female — he has been placed on administrative leave and is in Guilford County Jail pending an internal investigation. ABC45
