ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Local expert Ali Mousavi—founder of the American Innovative Beekeeper Academy—said pollen helps bees make food by mixing it with nectar for the hive and warned that without pollen, bee colonies could collapse. He urged residents to plant more bee-friendly flowers as a study shows commercial honey bees may drop by 70% this year, which could affect our food supply.  WXII 12
