- ➤ Alan Huss stepped down as head coach of High Point University’s men’s basketball team after leading the Panthers to their first NCAA Tournament appearance—he is expected to join his alma mater Creighton University as head coach in waiting following a 29—6 season and a Big South Tournament championship. - ➤ High Point University's men's basketball head coach Alan Huss is leaving after leading the team to its first NCAA Tournament appearance and a season with 29 wins and 6 losses, where it lost 75 to 63 against Purdue on March 20 (CBS Sports reported the move).
