- ➤ Severe storms are expected in High Point on Sunday as a powerful system will bring gusty winds—possibly reaching 30+ mph—and a slight risk of tornadoes with two rounds of rain predicted. Residents should stay alert for updates and be ready to seek shelter if a tornado warning is issued. WXII 12
