  • Food Lion is set to open a new distribution center in Triad in 2029 featuring robotic automation and a workforce of 550 employees (the 1.1-million sqft facility is backed by an $860-million investment).  News & Record

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • NCDA&CS announced that invasive spotted lanternflies are now breeding in Davidson, Rowan, and Caswell counties with earlier infestations seen in nearby areas. Officials urge residents to inspect vehicles and equipment as treatments run from April through October.  WFMY News 2
