Good morning, High Point.

High Point Central High School has announced that its varsity football team will take a one-year hiatus due to low participation, and a junior varsity squad will continue so the school can rebuild for a return next season.

The N.C. Department of Transportation will change an intersection east of High Point to an all-way stop to improve safety.

Officials say the update is designed to ease traffic flow.
